Where I am at this point in time

I am slowly but surely reading my way through “Principles of Druidry” By Emma Restall-Orr. (For sake of reference I will be Calling it “PoD” for short.) Over all I am pleased with this book and even went as far as getting in touch with Mrs. R-O even though the message I sent got passed off to one of the priestess’s of the order she works in it was still good to hear from some one out there so if you are reading this…Thank you.
Onto the topic at hand I was reading the above mentioned book and came across a section that was like an exercise. That being to become aware of my beliefs. SO here goes. lets dive right in.
I personally believe that “God(dess)” is not a person or a thing but rather a universal energy that we all have access to to change (usually for the better) ourselves, the people and things around us. This is not to say that God(dess) is not a being but in the same sense they are beings because in a scientific standpoint people are built on atoms…those atoms have energy do they not? I’m sure you catch my drift. So really God(dess) can be either or.
I see this energy so to speak as something that like the “Awen” or life flow if I am not mistaken flows through everything ranging from a minute level to a catastrophic level. It flows through all of us…much like the force from star wars (Makes me wonder if Lucas is not a druid?!)
I at present as far as other theologies, I do not like the church, because it is organized. Religion should not be something that is organized so to speak. Religion at its core is meant to bring an understanding of right and wrong as well as a celebration of who we are in perspective to the gods we affiliate. I have no issue with christanity as a whole Because it is a religion…I do however have an issue with the organization behind it. That is not to say it is bad. Its just means that unlike a grove or a coven it has far to much control. (If that is correct…)
So there we have it! Hope yah enjoyed
